One fine Sunday in June, Frederick area families aimed for a good time learning the shooting sport of archery at Littlestown Fish & Game. And who wouldn't miss an opportunity to attend a well coordinated event conducted by Gary Marple and friends!

The 2nd Annual event drew a healthy crowd (like last year) of youth and parents vying for a little one-on-one instruction. Discovering the finer points of archery meant losing a few arrows and pegging some wild 3D targets, but gaining a few new friends along the way. At the end of the day, everyone became a winner -- with or without randomly selected specialty prizes from Gary & Barb Marple, Littlestown Fish & Game, Rita's Italian Ice (Frederick), Brunswick Railroad Museum, and The National Museum of Civil War Medicine.
