Here we are, ringing in another year. Like
many of you, I'm thinking ahead to what's to come. And with Homeschool
Frederick!, future field trips, curriculum fairs, upcoming helpful articles, and
this year's HSF! birthday celebration are all on the table -- waiting to be
planned. Perhaps you have some ideas to share about possible birthday
celebration options? Affordability, fun, and a hint of education create the

As we move forward to this first issue of the year, why not kick
it off with something special? This month's issue rings in a brand
new helpful resource for all homeschool
parents and students! We're kicking off our Tutor Directory
to bring forth options when seeking
assistance in academics for your homeschool
students. Like our Music Directory
(debuting Fall 2008), thousands of homeschool families have a free registry of
listings to help in their quest for continuing studies. It is our hope that by
spreading the good news about tutors, our homeschool students explore the wealth
of teaching through outside professionals if needed.
Frankly, I'm tickled to have the Weinberg Center's sponsorship
for this month's ticket giveaway. Kevin Locke returns to Frederick in amazing
