The Baltimore Homeschool Community Center
A diverse and vibrant community of students, parents, teachers, and friends who are changing the face of homeschooling. The Baltimore Homeschool Community Center is not affiliated with any one homeschool group, but open to members of all homeschool groups. We also offer after school, weekend, and BCPS days off activities and classes.

Central Maryland Homeschoolers
This group is for open-minded homeschoolers based in and around Howard County, Maryland, who want to discuss issues related to educating their children. We represent a diverse range of religious, political and philosophical beliefs and share a common interest in educating our children outside of traditional school. We strive to respect and honor one another and join our strengths to create an effective, just, and open-minded educational community.
Culture at Home
is an African American homeschool support group in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area with an emphasis on the older homeschooled student and for families concerned with the healthy well-being and academic guidance of their African-American child.
DC Area Preschool Homeschoolers (DCAPH, or "decaf")
Offers community and support for homeschooling parents of children ages birth to six who are willing to commute to activities inside and slightly outside the Beltway. We hold twice weekly playgroups and sponsor field trips to museums, as well as other activities. While some members live farther afield, most activities and playgroups are held in Washington, DC and suburbs inside the beltway.
DC Area Elementary Age Homeschoolers
A homeschooling group providing support and community for parents educating their children, ages 5-11, at home. This group grew out of a preschool group called Decaf so we are affectionately nicknamed "Half-caf."
DC Metro Gifted Home Schooling
This group supports parents home schooling gifted kids throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan region." (Although most of our Maryland members are from Montgomery County, we also have a number of members from Howard, PG, Frederick, Baltimore, and Anne Arundel counties.)
Home School High School Inclusive (HSHSI)
Homeschool High School Inclusive is a Maryland-based homeschool high school group. Through this group you may find notifications of field trips (local and regional), information about online high schools and speciality colleges uniquely addressing the needs of homeschooled students, and a variety of other resources and information. There are also opportunities to have "discussions" with one another via e-mail, with the possibility of quarterly support meetings. Activities, as planned and organized by all who participate in this group, are encouraged for students who wish to gather together outside of the academic setting. HSHSI is an all-inclusive group to include all ethnic, race and cultural groups, faith traditions, and abilities.

Maryland Homeschooling-Special Needs
For those families in Maryland who are homeschooling children with special needs. Whether your child has Autism, Aspergers, learning disabilities, ADD, ADHD or any other disabilities or "just plain high maintenance" this group will lend support.
Maryland Roman Catholic Homeschoolers (MRCH)
A Catholic support group with members in Howard County, and in Catonsville, and from other nearby areas. We gather together for Mass and then brunch on first Fridays. Our children's schola/choir meets weekly to learn Gregorian chant. Each month we have Children's Adoration, Middle School Bible Study, Book Clubs(grades 2-3 & grades 4+), a Science Club (grades K-3) and toddler playgroup. Children up to age 7 go to Gymnastics locally each week. Several field trips are scheduled throughout the year. A calendar of activities is distributed via email at the beginning of each month.
Maryland Unschooling Family Connection (UFC)
Support group for unschoolers in Maryland.
An online forum to share resources, activities, ideas, and support among the homeschooling community to include the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan area, Hampton Roads (Tidewater) Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Approximately 50% of the group current serves our country in uniform. Military members are welcome to join.

MOCHA (Montgomery County Homeschool Activities)
